Mark Gammons
Co-Founder

Mark holds a BS in Foreign Service, a Juris Doctor and LLM in Tax Law. Having worked in the energy sector for 25 years, he has been living in or doing business in Tanzania since 2000 and was part of the team that initially completed the Songas project.

Mark worked for The Wing Group, AES and then Aldwych from 2009 to 2018 on renewable energy projects in Tanzania before joining Globeleq as the Head of Business Development for Tanzania from 2018 to 2023.

A general and commercial power sector expert, Mark’s strengths include building partnerships with government officials and connecting projects with the local communities.

Baptiste Bergès
Co-Founder

Baptiste holds an MSc in wind energy engineering and an MSc in chemical engineering. He also holds a certification on Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Audit, and another one Forests and Climate Change.

He is an energy sector expert in environmental and social impact assessments and resettlement action plans with twenty years of experience in projects in Kenya and Tanzania, including the groundbreaking 300 MW Lake Turkana wind project.

Baptiste worked for five years for Aldwych international before founding SandRose Ltd in 2014, a Nairobi-based project management and consulting firm company he still owns and manages.  Despite his depth of experience and knowledge, and his unmatchable work ethic, he is best known for his vision and passion.
