Arbreen participated to the 5th International Congress on Planted Forests, at CIFOR-ICRAF Campus, Nairobi, Kenya, 07-10 November 2023. The event was the first edition of this global forum to be held in Africa. The congress focused on planted forests as “an essential nature-based solution to meet growing needs in wood products, restore forest ecosystems, and mitigate climate change”.
During the event, Arbreen had the privilege to connect with scientists, technicians, government officials and private players and discuss challenges and opportunities of the sector.
